The Prada show holds more influence than most when it comes to dictating what we'll be wearing each season.
Miuccia Prada always knows what the next, most desirable thing will be and her collections dictate the ubiquitous of trends, whether pastel coloured suits with cropped trousers (AW 15), geisha dresses (SS 15), banana prints (SS11) or fired up stilettos (SS 14).
This season her models took the form of shimmering, ladylike space cadets; it was a futuristic imagining of beauty and as innovative as we would have expected.

So not one for your local bar - a look for when you want to impressed your most learned and directional fashion friends.
There is never a bad time for sequins, but next season they'll make more sense than ever. We'll be looking for shimmering white versions to adorn our skirts and jackets.
Great with pencil skirts (as cleverly styled by Queen Miuccia here), but also with cropped jeans and a brogue for a bookish vibe.
We've long wanted to embrace our inner five-year-old boy and now we can.
