Pastel French tip nails are the dreamiest way to update your spring mani

It's no secret that Frenchies are one of the biggest mani trends to have on your radar. But for spring, Pastel French tip nails are trending, and according to Pinterest, searches for the style are up by a whopping 455%.

Just like florals, pastels for spring aren't exactly groundbreaking, but that doesn't take away from the fact that they're a total mood and the perfect way to welcome in the new season (we're ready to push our autumn and winter shades to the back of the drawer).

That said, we love a fresh twist, and introducing pastels as a French tip is the cool-girl way to incorporate colour that we keep seeing everywhere. It takes a classic, simple and hugely popular design and gives it a seasonal update. It's more minimal than all-over pastels if you find them too prissy, but it's still fun, cute and exceptionally chic.

We've spotted joyful rainbow pastels with a different sorbet shade for each tip. We've seen uniform Frenchies in a single pastel shade (like baby blue, lilac, mint and blush) and we've even seen them remixed with doubled-up pastel tips, half-Frenchies, swoosh details and chrome finishes.
