Nicole Kidman was surrounded by her biggest fans at the 49th annual AFI Lifetime Achievement Awards Gala on April 27. According to Today, Kidman's teenage daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret made their red carpet debut at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles to support their mum on her big night.
While the actor sparkled in custom Balenciaga, 15-year-old Sunday wore a white strapless floral gown and 13-year-old Faith opted for a simple, yet stunning coral dress. In multiple photos, Kidman can also be seen holding hands with her niece, Sybella Hawley, who was dressed in a red corset dress. Kidman's sister Antonia Kidman was also in attendance.
And they both look so good in it.
Nicole Kidman shares her teen daughters with her husband Keith Urban, who reportedly made everyone cry during his tribute to Kidman later in the evening. She also shares two adopted children with her ex-husband Tom Cruise.
In a red carpet interview with People, Kidman described her teen girls as “very supportive and incredibly loving,” though she joked that they were more “excited” for the after-party. “We're going to do a post wrap-up at the house late, late tonight," she explained. "There's a party afterwards, and they're like, 'Oh, there's a party?' That's what they're excited about."
Honestly, that's fair, especially if Kidman's Big Little Lies co-stars were in attendance. After all, Kidman also shared a red carpet moment with her Monterey ladies Reese Witherspoon and Meryl Streep at the event.
“You're like a mustang, a workhorse, and a champion racer all in one, but one whose spirit, they'll never break. Never,” Streep said of Nicole Kidman while presenting her with the 2024 AFI lifetime achievement award, per Entertainment Weekly. "The range of your work is stunning. Your list of credits and roles and good deeds in the world would take a normal person three lifetimes to achieve. Your life and your résumé challenges everything we know about how many hours there are in the day and how many places a woman can be at one time. It's hard not to envy Nicole, but it's also impossible not to be in awe of her."
Surely, her daughters feel the same way.
