With their spectacular sense of style, quirky body language and shared reluctance for fame, Natalia Dyer and Charlie Heaton are the official IT couple of Stranger Things.
While fans of the sci-fi series have watched Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), who just discovered her character's real age, getting close to Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard) over the seasons, off-screen sparks quickly flew between Natalia, who plays Nancy Wheeler and Charlie, who takes on the role of Jonathan Byers.
Was Eleven able to do this all along?
Five years after the pair first made the red carpet debut as a couple, the pair proved just how perfect they were for one another as they arrived arm in arm for the Netflix show's hotly-anticipated season 4 premiere last month.
However, while the show's other stars have revelled in the limelight Natalie and Charlie have been noticeably aloof about their joint star power.
The pair are undoubtedly on the same wavelength, but how did their intensely private relationship make them unwittingly more fascinating? Let's take a look back and see.
2015: Natalia and Charlie meet for the first time on the set of Stranger Things
Natalia and Charlie began filming for the monster hit Netflix in 2015, and during the show's debut the following year, we saw Natalia's Nancy ditch boyfriend Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) to work with Charlie's Jonathan to solve her friend Barb's disappearance. Little did we know that the seeds of their real-life romance were sown thanks to their characters.

January 2017: The pair's cosy sightings spark relationship rumours
After two years of working together, the pair sparked romance rumours as they were seen together in public on numerous occasions. They were spotted at LAX Airport before holding hands in Paris and kissing in London.
October 2017: It's unofficially official!
After months of keeping mum about their relationship, the pair confirmed they were together during a hand-in-hand stroll in New York among various other outings.
December 2017: It's officially official!
Natalia and Charlie made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Fashion Awards in London in December 2017. And so began their status as one of Hollywood's stylish young couples.
September 2018: Natalia finally opens up about her romantic connection with co-star Charlie
The pair begin giving insight into their relationship, with Dyer telling US Weekly that working with Charlie was "a lot of fun".
She added: "We goof off a lot. The whole cast does. We're all very close, so we always have a great time on and off [set]. Sometimes it's even hard to stop laughing, stop goofing off. It's been really lovely!"

Charlie was a proud boyfriend as he supported his girlfriend Natalia at the Hollywood premiere of her film Velvet Buzzsaw.

In an interview with V Man, Charlie gave further insight into his romance with the stunning brunette as he spoke of how they support each other.
"There are times when you do get stressed. So to go home with someone you work with and say, 'I think they hate me.' They'll say, 'No they don't.' You can break the walls down with your partner.
"Because we work in the same industry and have had similar trajectories, we've gone through it together."
July 2019: The gushing interviews continue
On the promotional trail for Stranger Things S3, Natalia gushed about working with Charlie, telling Refinery29: "It's always really fun. We're really comfortable with each other, so we can play and feel more free, and we can talk about it before.
"There's that sense of who knows if you'll ever work together with this person ever again? Who knows? This might be your only chance to play like this."

The duo proved they were ready to settle in for the long lockdown period together as they celebrated Natalia's birthday in a sweet Instagram snap.
May 2022 - Five years on from when they first met, the pair are just as besotted with each other
Natalia and Charlie emerged on the other end of the pandemic ready to set the promotional trail for Stranger Things S4 alight. However, they still do not get the obsession with their romance.
Speaking to Cosmopolitan UK, Natalia said: "The weirdest thing about (our relationship) is other people's perception and reaction to it. Everything else just feels very human. It's an understanding that would be hard to replicate. It's an indescribable thing.
"I'm always curious as to why it comes up. Why do people want to know about it?"
Detailing her confusion further, Natalia said: "Now that I've experienced the other side of it, it sounds so cliché, but I'm just a person, too."
