Jeremy Scott was appointed Moschino’s creative director in 2013 and since then, he has revolutionised the Italian fashion house with off-the-wall pieces and witty pop culture references, including incorporating Barbie and McDonalds logos into his collections – and this season was no different.
The designer, known for his visual wit and desire to put the fun back into fashion, certainly knew how to cheer up a crowd on week three of fashion month.
The Moschino models stepped out on to the catwalk as 80s-inspired biker ballerinas with leather jackets, My Little Pony t-shirts, feathered tutus, studded belts and boots, because, why not?
But as the show went on, these tough chicks were transformed into flowers. Anna Cleveland, who came down the AW17 runway in a dress that appeared like it was on fire, became a literal flower, throwing he-loves-me-he-loves-me-not petals to the crowds.
Our personal favourite though? It had to be Gigi Hadid and Kaia Gerber who became human flower bouquets.
