Exploring the successes and scandals of the world's most visited adult website, the feature-length doc will explore how Pornhub played a massive part in changing adult entertainment by turning it into a multi-billion dollar industry. On the other hand, the company became embroiled in allegations such as non-consensual material and trafficking content on the site, with one adult performer stating in the trailer: "They neglect to see that sex work and sex trafficking are two completely different things."

The official press statement by Netflix reads: "Pornhub, the internet's most famous adult entertainment platform, fundamentally changed how pornography is made and distributed. This enabled erotic content creators to reach a massive audience while the company made billions of dollars – but it also became embroiled in allegations including non-consensual material and trafficking on the site."
It was added: "As anti-trafficking organisations seek justice for victims, can the online giant protect those from whom they profit, or is this a new wave of censorship for adult performers making consensual porn?"
The documentary will feature interviews with activists, former employees, and performers such as Siri Dahl, Cherie DeVille, and Asa Akira, who will offer further insight into the good and bad sides of the industry, from giving a monetised platform for adult workers to allegations of non-consensual material and trafficking uploaded on the site.
With activist organisations fighting back against Pornhub to protect victims, in return, adult performers faced a new wave of censorship, which threatened the consensual porn they uploaded to the site. One person in the trailer stated: "It’s not just an attack on porn. It’s an attack on people being able to express themselves."
Director Suzanne added about the documentary: "Who has, and who should have, the power in these environments? Our hope is that this film generates important conversations about sex and consent, both on the internet and out in the world."
