Swimmer Michael Phelps, who is the most successful athlete in Olympic history, said over the weekend that he is taking a break from swimming to take part in a programme "to better understand myself".
The news comes after Michael was arrested for DUI for a second time last week, driving at 84mph in a 45mph zone.
Michael made the announcements over Twitter, writing:

The 29-year-old has previously landed himself in trouble for substance abuse - in 2009 he was photographed holding a bong and was banned for three months, while in 2004, he had to serve 18 months' probation after failing to stop at a stop sign.
We hope Michael will get the help that he needs.
