Someone hand me a magnifying glass. There's a new Megan Thee Stallion manicure to check out, and I need to examine it from every possible angle.
ICYMI, Megan is currently in Paris for Couture Week and popped up at the Giambattista Valli show, where she sat front row looking otherworldly in a pale sherbet orange hooded gown and the glowiest makeup by Priscilla Ono. The gown was such a statement-maker, so I understand if it grabbed all your attention at first, but you truly shouldn't miss out on the nails.
Megan's nails were a medium length with a softly rounded tip and a different design on each finger, with a modernist mix of colours, textures, and nail art. One hand featured a topaz orange pinky, a smoky bronze cat-eye on her ring finger, and a textured turquoise design that looked almost like a piece of jewellery on her hand. Her pointer finger and thumb were painted with a translucent colour for a nude illusion, with a small gold circle on the pointer and a 3D decal on her thumb. On the other hand, you'll see a few similar designs, plus a ruby red colour on her thumb and a bluish teardrop on her pinky.
Every finger is its own little masterpiece, and it's a brilliant choice for a Fashion Week, too; Megan Thee Stallion could easily wear this manicure with any couture creation. She's also been a fan of mix-and-match manicures recently, like the colour-blocked set we think deserves a spot in the MoMa.
The rapper's new “hot honey” hair colour also made an appearance, styled by Kellon Deryck. Most of her hair was hidden by the hooded gown, but a small portion was slicked down into a swirly shape on her forehead, adding to the vintage '40s vibes of the dress.
