Maisie Williams and her slicked-back bob are simply too cool

If Y2K fashion had an Iron Throne, Maisie would be sitting on it right now.

And the award for achievement in ’00s-era fashion goes to…Maisie Williams at a Vanity Fair pre-BAFTAs party on January 31. This outfit is playing all the hits. The going-out top. The flared, low-rise “dress” pants. The studded detail on the shoes. The white, illustrated crescent bag. She is so cool.

The standout piece of this ensemble is clearly the top. The Game of Thrones star’s sheer black shirt has cutouts under the bust, over the bust, and on the shoulders, with a twisted knot detail at the neckline and a scooped, semi-open back revealing Maisie’s intricate back tattoos.

She wore the top tucked into her tan trousers, with pointed toe black mules and the aforementioned white satchel, which is adorned with pastel illustrations.

The whole outfit might have looked dated, if not for the modern fit of the pants and Maisie’s hair, a short, slicked-back bob.

As if Maisie Williams wasn’t already enough of a fashion girlie, her next TV project is playing Catherine Dior in AppleTV’s upcoming miniseries, The New Look, about the rise of fashion designer Christian Dior and his eponymous luxury couture brand. Arya Stark has come a long way from Westeros, indeed.
