Lindsay Lohan is one of our forever beauty influences, so it makes sense that she’s wearing one of the coolest manis of the summer. From her iconic cowboy copper hair to blonde churro hair, Lindsay is a leader when it comes to beauty trends—and her sparkling-rosé nails are no exception.

At the Freakier Friday premiere on July 22, Lindsay wore a shimmery blush manicure reminiscent of our favourite summer drink. Created by manicurist Eri Ishizu, the look features a cat-eye effect, rosy blush color, and round almond shape. Eri tagged Aprés Nails and shared the shade The Lovers, a pearlescent gel nail polish.

Unfortunately, this product is only available in the US but good alternatives include Manucurist Active Shine Treatment and Sephora Collection Nail Polish in 901 Pink Glaze.

To round out the look, Lindsay Lohan wore a flowy blush pink gown with a sparkling necklace and dangling earrings. Her blonde hair was styled in long waves, and her glam was kept minimal with pink cheeks, shimmery champagne lids and a nude lip.

It’s all giving monochromatic rosé—and we’re so here for it. What better time to drink rosé than the summer?

As for how cat-eye nails get their shimmery velvet effect, L.A. Nails Studio founder Apple previously said that it’s the result of some scientific magic. It turns out, the gel formula contains magnetic particles.

“[Cat-eye] mimics the magnetic field and pushes the metal particles, which gives it the famous cat-eye look,” explains Apple. Using a magnet allows you to “manipulate the particles to the desired placement.”

Want to get the look at home? Apple says it’s possible to DIY. Just keep in mind, the look is gel-only. “You can definitely do it at home,” says Apple. If you already know how to use a gel lamp to cure your polish, you can easily re-create Lindsay’s sparkling-rosé nails. All you need is the special magnetic polish and nail magnet, which you can pick up from Boots.
