The walk backstage at Julien Macdonald is lined with gorgeous Floris candles and a sweeping staircase covered in fresh flowers - it's fair to say we knew this look was going to be super glam... indeed, it was!
The uber gothic/strict hairstyle, created by Martin Cullen for L'Oreal Paris took precedence using Invisihold Studio Line hair gel (£3) and their Elvive Extraordinare Oil (£10). The dresses are almost couture worthy, oozing glamour and sophistication - therefore the choice of hair was a deliberate contrast to the clothing.
ALERT! Martin lets us in on his secrets: The invisible ponytail. The bands of the ponytails were cut off last minute but the shape stayed in place leaving a super grunge "Invisi Ponytail".
Two HOTSPOTS backstage included model Josephine Skriver in the hot seat of make-up artist Val Garland and BFF of the designer Abbey Clancy, who popped backstage to say a few words of good luck before his show.
