Aries dates
The Leo star sign falls between July 23rd and August 22nd. A fire sign, Leo is the fifth star sign, falling in between Cancer and Virgo.
Typical Leo personality traits
“Leos are the life of the party (and wherever they are tbh),” says Andrews. “Confident, creative, and effortlessly charming, they’re the ones who effortlessly steal the spotlight without even trying, leaving everyone in awe of their natural magnetism.” However, there's a little more to them than their effervescent facades. “Under all of that, there’s a need to be loved and a suspicion that they have to be larger than life to earn that love,” she says.
“Leos exude confidence in everything they do,” says Andrews. “They carry themselves with pride and aren’t afraid to take on challenges head-on.” This often means that Leos are “unapologetically themselves” — in other words, they are never scared to speak up and be real where others might retreat into their shells.
“Leos have a natural flair for creativity and self-expression,” she says. “Whether it’s in the arts, music, or fashion, they love to showcase their unique talents.”
“Leos have a way of captivating others with their presence and personality,” Andrews says. This means that Leos tend to have large, ever-growing friendship circles. They're the kind of people who tend to collect new friends and admirers everywhere they go. As Andrews says, “Their warmth and charm are infectious.”
You'll often find Leos leading the pack — you know, kind of like a lion. “They have a commanding presence and inspire others to follow their lead,” says Andrews. “Leos often find themselves in leadership roles, whether it’s at work, in social settings, or within their families. They have a natural ability to inspire and motivate others.”
Leos aren't all show — underneath all of their confidence, Leos have a real sense of generosity for others. “They are fiercely loyal to their friends and loved ones and enjoy showering them with love and affection,” she says. “Leos are known for their big hearts and are always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. They take pride in being there for their loved ones and making them feel special.”

Leo compatibility
Leos tend to match well with Libras in both friendships and romantic situations.
“Libra’s diplomatic nature complements Leo’s assertiveness, creating a harmonious balance in their relationship,” she says. “They appreciate each other’s strengths and work well together as a team.”
Aries and Leos have a lot in common, which can make them fast friends, or, sometimes, natural competitors. Says Andrews, “Both Aries and Leo share a fiery passion for life, making them a fun and exciting match. Their mutual energy and enthusiasm create a strong bond."
Leo and Sagittarius share a passion for adventure. “This makes them compatible partners who enjoy exploring new experiences together,” she says.
The dreamy Pisces season has begun.

What are Leos like at work?
As natural leaders, Leos tend to gravitate towards professional roles and scenarios where they get the opportunity to take charge.
“Leos thrive in roles that allow them to showcase their leadership skills and creativity,” Andrews explains. “They are ambitious and driven, often aiming for positions of authority where they can make a significant impact.”
Leos also do well in roles where they are able to create and innovate, generating new ideas.
Leos do have to be careful in workplace settings not to come across as overly assertive. “It’s important for them to learn to collaborate effectively with others and recognise the contributions of their colleagues,” she warns.
“Overall, Leos bring a dynamic energy and passion to any work setting, making it fun to be around them.”
