A daring slide split has been a thing for the past few years now - it started with Angelina Jolie's daring black dress worn to the 2012 Oscars and became popular of the catwalks of Preen, Burberry and Peter Pilotto - and yet there's now a new way of showing off your pins; leg cleavage.
Leg cleavage apparently refers to the upturned deep v-shaped hemline, worn by Selena Gomez and Ellie Goulding at the Victoria's Secret show on Tuesday night. Not one for the shy and retiring, it's essentially an arrow pointing to your lady parts. Try at your peril.
There is a more discreet way of trying leg cleavage - choose an A-line skirt with a front slit and team with either heeled ankle boots or heels. Tuck a jumper or unbuttoned shirt in and you've a great work-to-night option; think Carine Roitfeld or Jenna Lyons.
They look best worn without tights (front slits do not look fab with a granny crotch hosiery situation), so remember to wear big pants for fashion safety.
