Lana Del Rey may just love her “alligator guide” boyfriend Jeremy Dufrene until the end of time. According to the Daily Mail, the singer tied the knot with Dufrene in a Louisiana bayou wedding yesterday.
This comes after the news that the 39-year-old “Blue Jeans” singer obtained a marriage license on September 23 to wed the Louisiana-based airboat captain. The license, which People confirmed through the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court, was valid if the couple wed within 30 days.
Meanwhile, Karlie Kloss went in a different direction.
Rumours about Del Rey’s relationship with Dufrene first began circulating in August 2024 after a fan caught them holding hands backstage at the UK’s Leeds Festival. However, it appears the pair have known each other since at least 2019, when Del Rey took one of Dufrene’s airboat tours while in Louisiana for the BUKU Music + Art Project festival.
At the time, she posted photos from the swamp tour on Facebook, writing, “Jeremy lemme be captain at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours x.”
Per Page Six, Dufrene also posted about their meetup on Instagram, writing, “I never know who I can run across on my tours but always a pleasure @lanadelrey.”

Del Rey also called Dufrene “my guy” in an Instagram post in May. They’ve since been spotted out and about together in New York.

Dufrene keeps his social media private, but his bio on his employer’s website says he worked in a chemical plant before following his passion getting his license to captain a swamp boat for tours. According to People, he has two daughters and a son.

And Lana Del Rey isn’t the only celebrity Dufrene has hosted. Glen Powell posted in 2019 that he had taken one of Dufrene’s tours, writing that “we’re both single and ready to mingle.”
Well, it looks like that's not the case anymore!
