We've all pondered that age old question: How many corsets can a person wear in one outfit? Well, Kylie Jenner, for one, has an answer. It's three.
In an August 23 grid post on Instagram, the youngest of the Kar-Jenner sisters and the latest to try her hand at a la dolce vita lifestyle modelled an outfit consisting of not one, not two, but three separate corset-inspired pieces to make a single dress. Her mind.
On top, Jenner wore a bustier-style top in a bright, cherry red which, as we know, has already been dubbed thee “it” colour of the season. For her next layer, Jenner wore a cinched corset bodice in a metallic champagne colour, further snatching her already snatched waist. The third and final piece, the mini skirt, was more khaki in hue, but also featured a boudoir-ish lace detail in front. Jenner styled her three-piece corset with a seductive updo with a few romantic face-framing pieces pulled out in front, and a pair of white sateen sling-backs.
Jenner's post captured the outfit from several different angles, as she posed beside an Italian rock formation on a set of steps. For a caption, she added just a series of emojis, including the one for red wine, the Italian flag, a plate of spaghetti, and three white hearts.
Kylie Jenner is clearly enjoying her time in the Italian countryside, and this nighttime look is a racier counterpoint to her earlier post, which showed the social media mogul lounging on the grass in a cottagecore white dress amongst an equally picturesque picnic.
