Naomi Watts maybe one of Hollywood's most celebrated actresses, but the Oscar-winner's daughter Kai Schreiber is slowly making a mark on her own.
At Naomi's NYC premiere for her latest film “The Friend” about a writer who adopts a Great Dane that belonged to her late friend and mentor, the actress looked stunning in a white dress with black feathered detail on the skirt, standing alongside co-star Billy Crudup. But a certain other tall drink of water stole the show on the red carpet—Naomi's 16-year-old transgender daughter Kai Shreiber.
If the striking blonde looks familiar, that's because Kai recently made her runway debut at Valentino's autumn/winter 2025 show in Paris, wearing Alessandro Michele's retro-eclectic designs. The model was nearly unrecognisable, walking the toilet-lined runway inspired by the work of David Lynch in a lace skull cap, snake-print tunic with a contrast feather collar and lace tights with mum Naomi watching proudly from the audience.
At “The Friend” premiere, Kai wore another Valentino look fresh off the spring/summer 2025 runway, featuring a cropped polka-dot blazer, tiered ruffled skirt and black tights. Clearly Valentino has found their next It girl, and we may have found our next Gigi Hadid or Iris Law.
The 23-year-old daughter of Jude Law and Sadie Frost is a certified fashion darling.
Of course, having famous parents and incredible cheekbones help, but we love how effortlessly Kai carries Alessandro's whimsical designs and we can't wait to see how her style evolves off the runway. We also can't help but see a little bit of American actress Chloë Sevigny in Kai, the way they're able to pull off the most eccentric looks just with their innate sense of cool. And who knows, we could very well see her starring in films too. After all, it runs in the family.
