Believe it or not, Lord Alan Sugar has been pointing his finger across a boardroom and saying those infamous words—"you're fired!"—for 20 years now. Yes, The Apprentice is back on our screens and another cohort of business-savvy entrepreneurs will be competing for Lord Sugar's £250,000 investment and a chance to be his business partner.
This year's youngest candidate is Dublin native and long-time fan of the series, Jordan Dargan. Here's everything we know about the young hopeful, who is planning to scale up his animation business.
Who is Jordan Dargan?
Jordan Dargan was born and raised in Dublin, and has been a fan of The Apprentice since he was 7-years-old. “I always knew this was a goal I would will into existence,” he wrote on Instagram. “15 years later, I’m proudly standing as a candidate on series 19!”
Jordan is mixed-race, and is the first mixed-race Irish contestant in the show's history. “I’m the youngest candidate this season, proudly waving the Irish and Nigerian flags,” he shared on social media.
Despite being the youngest entrepreneur in the boardroom, Jordan is planning to blow away the competition and prove that age is just a number. “Hard work and persistence can take you far,” he told the BBC. “Regardless of where you’re from or your years on this earth. I will out-work, out-smart, and out-perform anyone Lord Sugar puts in front of me.”

Jordan Dargan's business plan
Jordan runs a 3D animation studio called Rendify Studios. His business creates viral marketing campaigns for brands, such as transforming Piccadilly Circus using CGI. He told the BBC that his biggest business success to date has been collaborating with the world’s fastest-growing men’s jewellery brand on Shopify. “Our collaboration received over three million views across social media," he said.

Jordan has explained that his business is currently a “one-man band”. But with Lord Sugar's investment, he's hoping to turn that “into an orchestra of the world’s most talented 3D artists to take my business to the next level.”

Does Jordan have social media?
You can follow Jordan's personal Instagram @jordandargann. At time of writing, he has fewer than 2,500 followers, but we expect that will soar once he gains prominence on The Apprentice. Jordan's business, Rendify Studios, is on Instagram as @rendifystudios. He's also on TikTok as @jordandargann.
