When John Lewis announced their collaboration with London label A.W.A.K.E. MODE last year, the collection featuring fabulous asymmetrical jackets and balloon trousers immediately flew off shelves. I myself was lucky enough to get my hands on a few items that I've worn to bits since (pro tip: head straight to the stores; things might sell out online but will still have sizes in store).
A.W.A.K.E. MODE was founded in London in 2012 by Natalia Alaverdian, and has since become a cult label beloved by fashion insiders for their sculptural silhouettes and eclectic details. You may recall some of their most iconic styles which include lots of dramatic pleating and geometric cutout skirts. Every time a retailer partners with the label, the collection gets snapped up immediately (remember the & Other Stories collab?) and we have no doubt this next John Lewis drop will be the same.

After its extremely successful autumn/winter 2024 collection, John Lewis is bringing back this collaboration for spring, with a 34-piece collection of denim, tailoring, accessories, and, of course, occasionwear. Sharp tailoring continues to be the main through-line of the collection, but with bursts of summery colourways like fuschia pink, fresh greens and zesty citrus hues that pop against their classic, monochromatic pieces.
The sold-out asymmetric jacket and barrel trousers from the first drop will also make a comeback in lightweight fabrics to go with the floaty styles of the collection.

Featuring pieces that range between £69 for a knitted tank top and £349 for a pure wool blazer, the collection will be available from April 2 online and across five John Lewis stores.
