Jennifer Lopez's extra long chocolate cherry manicure is the most elegant nail trend this year, which she elevated further with a surprising shape.

When it comes to nail designs, one celebrity who always serves up the inspo we need is Jennifer Lopez. Even better, her nail designer Tom Bachik regularly shares his work on Instagram, alongside the details and the products used. What stands out? Recently, J.Lo has been a big fan of natural manicures, which are anything but boring. Now, too, she's proving what's on trend with her XL chocolate cherry manicure — and the results are impressive.

Red nails are back on the radar for 2025. After causing a real hype in autumn 2024, the trending colour is also finding its way back onto nails this year. But unlike last year, we're not opting for a bright red, but rather more muted tones.

Always on top of the trends, Jen opted for a brownish red tone — but that's not the only option. The “Chocolate Cherry” shade is fresh and elegant, making it a versatile choice that works beautifully year-round — whether you’re after a bold update or a subtle change.

But the nail colour is not the only feature of her manicure. The singer said goodbye to her typical almond-shaped nails and swapped them for super-long coffin nails.

The term "coffin" refers to the distinctive shape of the nails, which is reminiscent of the appearance of a coffin. Also known as ballerina nails (due to replicating the shape of a pointe shoe) the nails are slightly narrow on the sides and flattened at the tip, giving them an elegant, almost dramatic silhouette. This is a quick way to spice up a simple design, however, to achieve the characteristic shape, precise filing is required.
