Jennifer Lopez understood the assignment when she attended the Wicked premiere in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The singer, actor and entrepreneur looked like a sexy sorceress dressed in a high neck vintage-print embellished dress, made modern with side cut-outs and a thigh-high split. But, always one to deliver on the details, Jen gave us matching wrist cuffs, glittering strappy stilettos and a manicure custom made for the occasion.

Taking to Instagram to give us all the intel, Jen's long-time manicurist, Tom Bachik, shared “@jlo's wicked mani for the @wickedmovie premiere 🪄" naming the look "#moonstone nails”. The second slide shows a close-up of Jennifer's manicure which shows an opalescent and iridescent white-grey toned chrome mani reflecting lilac, peach and blue in the light, just like a moonstone.

It was the perfect witchy tribute to the film she was there to celebrate, nodding to Glinda and Elphaba, but it's also a very pretty colour to replicate, especially through the darker, witchier months.

As for how he created the look, Tom shared the details, noting he used the Apres Nails coffin tips in Maisie topped with Cosmic Chrome powders made by Tom himself – which he teased would be “coming soon”.

As for her hair, her hair stylist, Andrew Fitzsimons gave us a rundown on how to recreate her “soft Bardot-esque updo” with a little help from the Bellami Hair Silk Seam Clip-In 20 Inch Hair Extensions in Dirty Brunette Highlight.

“I started by doing a bouncy blowout,” Andrew said, “then sectioned the hair and clipped in my hair extensions in horizontal rows, one row backward at the nape of the neck and one row forward to create more volume. Once the extensions were securely in place, I sprayed the hair with @andrewfitzsimonshair Après Sexe Texture Spray, gathered it up and twisted it to create this effortless Bardot-style updo, and secure with hair pins," Andrew added.

“Finally, I added two single clips in the front for more volume and brushed them backward away from the face with her bangs,” Andrew said, noting he used a hot brush for this. And lastly, he “blended the hair for a seamless look, using the Hard Strong Hold Hairspray to hold everything in place for a voluminous, polished finish.”
