Last night marked Jennifer Lopez's fourth turn as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live — and proved exactly why she keeps getting invited back.
On February 4, Lopez joined first-time host Ayo Edebiri at Rockefeller Centre to perform her new tracks Can't Get Enough and This Is Me… Now, both from her upcoming album. For her first song, the 54-year-old hit the stage in baggy low-rise cutout trousers and a matching cropped blazer, which she wore over an equally cropped white top, harking back to her Y2K origins.
Here's everything we know so far, including the release date and how to stream.

And yet, style malfunctions happen no longer how long you've been in the business — it's been exactly 24 years since Lopez's first SNL appearance on February 5, 2000 — and Lopez knew exactly how to handle one of hair extensions coming loose during Can't Get Enough. In one clip shared on X.com, Lopez can be seen pulling out her extension and dropping it on the stage without missing a single beat of choreography.
This wasn't the only potentially awkward situation that Jennifer Lopez completely brushed off. Back in 2020, Ayo Edebiri described the singer's career as “one long scam” during an episode of the Scam Goddess podcast, which resurfaced just before their joint SNL appearance. “She thinks she’s on multiple tracks, but it’s not her,” The Bear star joked at the time, per Page Six. “I think she thinks that she’s still good even though she’s not singing for most of these songs.”
Still, Lopez didn't appear too offended by the four-year-old jokes during promo clips with the 28-year-old Emmy-winning actor.

Even so, Edebiri seemingly addressed the comments during an SNL sketch, titled, Why'd You Say It?
“We get it. It’s wrong to leave mean comments or post comments just for clout, or run your mouth on a podcast and you don’t consider the impact because you’re 24 and stupid," she said during the gameshow sketch about questionable social media behaviour. "But I think I speak for everyone when I say from now on, we’re going to be a lot more thoughtful about what we post online.”
Ultimately, Jennifer Lopez appeared unbothered on all fronts, heading to the Saturday Night Live after-party in full mob-wife aesthetic, complete with a big white coat, sparkling silver boots, and slicked back in a bun.
Iconic, as always.
