When a BLACKPINK member goes to their tried-and-true salon, Unistella, led by Park Eunkyung, you know we're going to end up with a new manicure on our nailspo boards. This time, it just so happens that it's not a music video or runway show that prompted the visit but rather Jennie's interview with Billie Eilish to promote Hit Me Hard and Soft during a recent trip to South Korea.

For the occasion, Jennie wore a navy tweed jacket covered in pins, a graphic t-shirt, and a trendy pair of short shorts. She went for simple glam with a high ponytail, soft pink blush and matching eyeshadow, and a light orange-brown lip gloss. The scene-stealer of the look, however, was her eye-catching manicure.
On top of a neutral base, Jennie wore long almond-shaped nails with ombré transparent tips — one hand blue and the other green. The tips were topped with 3D art, sculpted to look like ice cream, sprinkles, and a cherry on top of melon soda. It's a fun and sweet alternative to the classic French manicure, and it's perfect for summer.

While this manicure set is a very unique and refreshing look, we can't help but get a sense of déjà vu. This set takes us back to 2020 when BLACKPINK released “Ice Cream” with Selena Gomez. In the music video, Jennie's group mate Lisa had a pop art manicure that spelled out “ice cream” across her nails. We love a dessert-themed mani!
Following the jelly nails and milk nails trends of previous years, it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise if another food-inspired trend began this year and ice cream nails became the next big thing.

If sweets-themed nails aren’t your thing, though, it’s all good. BLACKPINK and Unistella have plenty of stunning looks. For Lisa's new song “Rockstar,” she wore a set of silver chrome nails adorned with stars. In the springtime, Rosé proved that black nails are timeless and can even be a warm-weather colour, while Jisoo opted for a classic French mani to shoot her first self-portrait campaign. There's something for everyone!
