Well folks, she's done it again. Jenna Ortega's Emmys 2025 is just incredible. Truly, she's outdone herself with her look. Not to mention the rest of the carpet.
This time, the Wednesday star took her goth girl vibe in a very bejewelled direction, and, needless to say, everyone is obsessed.
Ortega's ensemble, from the Givenchy by Sarah Burton fall/winter 2025 ready-to-wear collection, features an elaborate top piece of oversized gemstones and pearls strung together to create a kind of blouse fit for a particularly jewel-loving queen. Or perhaps a very flashy bit of chainmail. The gems do just enough to keep the top decent, with a few hanging pieces across her bellybutton.
And is it just us, or is this a reference to Isabella Rossellini’s iconic outfit as Lisle Von Rhuman in Death Becomes Her?
There's more than a passing resemblance, and even the tones of Jenna's gems match up to Rossellini's equivalent. We'll leave that up to you to decide, though.
To offset the decadence of the look's top half, Ortega paired it with a low-rise black skirt which featured a thigh-high slit, so it's still not exactly demure.
Her shoes were platform strappy sandals. Ortega kept her glam perfectly moody, with a low, messy bun, a deep plum lip, and whisper thin eyebrows. Pure gorgeousness.
Believe it or not, but you may have seen this remarkable top before, on another of our favourite style icons du jour. Kaia Gerber wore the top in the Givenchy 2025 fall campaign, per Marie Claire, where she managed to make it look nearly casual in black-and-white.
The Emmys 2025 features Jenna Ortega as a presenter, though the previous year she was nominated for best actress in a comedy.

A version of this feature appeared on Glamour US.
