It's a twist of textures at Holly Fulton's LFW Show

The show notes called Holly Fulton's show "a celebration on woozy summer days, glittering nights and hazy morning lounging," which all sounds preferable to the next few months of grey days fast approaching.

Fulton is one of London's reigning queens of print (along with Mary Katrantzou and Louise Goldin) and she was on top form today mixing fizzy peach and orange geo prints with lilac.

Inspired by 70s Aussie pop star Noosha Fox, Fulton's line-up embraced floaty floral shirt dresses and clashing hues.

And if swirly girly isn't your bag, there were corkboard texture tops and frocks (word's still out on if you can sit down in these) and synthetic shell coats flocked with wispy feathers.

From top to toe, Fulton's girls were fresh and glossy: they wore their hair in French twists, spilling over with curls, and everyone's favourite clogs, Swedish Hasbeens, on their feet.

Bottom line: clashing pastel prints and textures breathe new life into the mismatched trend.
