Fashion is renowned for being impractical, unpredictable and occasionally exceedingly silly (in a fabulous way of course). So when we noticed this practical trend emerging, we very nearly missed it - almost.
Here is a look loaded with so many questions: a structured 'work coat', a smart jumper and, erm, gym leggings?
We can confirm the workout ethos has penetrated the casual wardrobe and is burrowing its way into work uniforms across the country. But don't sweat, it looks great.
It also saves carrying your gym kit into work. While you may think it looks slightly ridiculous, you do in fact win brownie points for at least dressing for the gym. And, you are well in-line with the 2014 sports-luxe trend which will undoubtedly spill over into 2015.
If you're prepared to embrace this trend a step further, why not team with some heeled boots or brogues to dispel rumours and hammer home the fact that your intentions are wholly deliberate.
