While GLAMOUR's Women Of The Year Awards is held to celebrate empowering, successful and incredible women, we have to admit, we're also here for the comedy moments – accidental or not.

We've pulled together the most side-splitting moments from years of acceptance speeches from some of the world's most decorated stars. We won't lie, a regular theme in a LOT of these moments is that a certain amount of alcohol has been consumed for this hilarity to be possible. And we love it.

Enjoy.

Amy Schumer opening the 2015 ceremony: "I can catch a dick whenever I want”

Simultaneously calling out men in the audience for not finding her jokes funny, Schumer quipped: "I’m probably 160lbs right now, and I can catch a dick whenever I want."

The comedian added: “It’s not a problem!” and we honestly believe her. The crowd went wild for her candour and confidence, and we are here for it 100%. And the best part? Jennifer Saunders is stood behind Schumer, unable to keep a straight face. Classic.

Rebel Wilson's acceptance speech for International Film Actress in 2013

Wilson slayed us all with the following: “I never once put out to get this award, I wanted to, but there were no takers”.

She also took issue with British desserts, namely spotted dick. Which is fair.

Dawn French's intro and celebration of Jennifer Saunders

French gave her comic pal a beautiful, yet hilarious introduction at the “I asked Glamour why – in the name of holy tits – she should be chosen above many others so much more deserving."

After reading off some testaments to Saunders' success, French called these accolades a “pack of insufferable lies, but hey ho – showbiz is a fickle old tw*t”. We love to hear her savagery.

When Victoria Beckham made an accidental penis joke

As Posh Spice settled in to make her acceptance speech for Women of The Decade award back in 2013, she got the audience giggling when she adjusted her microphone upwards, making a joke that ended up sounding, well, sexual.

“Oh, I have to raise it, that doesn't happen often,” she joked as she pulled the microphone upwards towards her. The entire audience creased up at her innuendo, and Posh immediately looks shocked and apologises to Brooklyn for her Mum Joke blunder. We love to see it.

Nicole Kidman took female solidarity to another level

After singing the praises of badass female director Sofia Coppola, Nicole joked about changing  her name from “Kidman” to “Kid-woman”, to honour the sisterhood. And honestly, we're obsessed.

The audience loved it, and why wouldn't they? Our Aussie queen shouting out to her fellow talented Hollywood ladies, and suggesting a revolutionary, feminist name change in the process. Perfect.

“I realised it's wrong, I cannot be Kid-man,” she smiled. We are here for both the laughs and the vibes.

Emma Willis and her drunken antics during the 2017 ceremony

A woman after our own hearts, Emma was upfront and honest about her nerves at making an emotional, heartfelt speech, admitting that she was feeling tipsy after two tequilas.

She even shouted: “WOOOOO TEQUILA!” Honestly girl, same. Our fave moment, though, was after her calling out all her fave girls, she name checked her husband Matt Willis.

Emma even referred to him as the “best member of Busted, thank you very much”.

Her sign off? “I'm gonna go get pissed."
