And the piece that the style elite are wearing is something we can all get on board with - a shirt. Not to sound like an M&S food advert, but this is no ordinary shirt. Rarely has a shirt looked so desirable as those by French label G Kero, whose pieces are decorated in prints of colourful characters - from David Bowie and the Rolling Stones to Karl Lagerfeld and Daft Punk. Even Francois Hollande makes a printed appearance for autumn/winter 2016.

Her brand has since attracted an impressive fan base (other names include Marion Cotillard, Emily Ratajkowski and Elle Fanning) and a long stockist list, including Net A Porter. Frankly, who wouldn't want a shirt covered in Bowie? It's the grown up, sophisticated version of a band T-shirt. Prices start at £121.
