Playsuits are the best thing to ever happen to summer fashion. As a HUGE summer dresses fan, I don't say this haphazardly.
Aside from the toilet issue (you have to get practically naked every time you need to go), and the fact they have a certain man-repelling quality (to which we say, 'Who cares?'), they are one of fashion's most fun items to wear. And so we start our playsuit appreciation list:
It's like wearing a onesie, but one you can wear out.
Here are some of the many things you can do in playsuits (tried and tested) - cartwheel in the park; attempt to the splits at a BBQ; run for a bus without fear that your bag is hitching up your skirt to reveal your derriere; and scale a fence at a club in Brixton.
Much like a dress, you don't need to worry about what to wear with them - they are the perfect solo project.
As already explained above, you need not worry about what shirt to wear with your shorts; it's already built in for you. A marvellous example of fashion ingenuity.
Working out what to wear in warm temperatures isn't fun, but playsuits (the tailored variety) offer a perfect smart, but casual solution.
