Do your family ask you loudly at gatherings why you "don't have a boyfriend", or when you're going to "settle down"? Perhaps they try and set you up with "the nice man" who reads out the Bingo numbers to your nan every Tuesday? Or offer "friendly" advice that perhaps your ripped jeans are too scruffy and that's why people don't fancy you?
Well, count yourself lucky. At least they haven't shamelessly given Christmas cards to family and friends denoting your lonely status.

Emily Seawright, a student from California posted a picture of her family's Christmas card and it is BRUTAL. After a row of happy couples holding up signs saying "Excited", "Engaged", and "Expecting", the poor girl is simply holding "Emily". Same, hun.
