We don't know yet if Emma Stone will be a two-time best actress Oscar-winner, but she is certainly winning the red carpet. The star selected a silk brocade strapless dress with a waist-accentuating peplum and a small train. Leave it to her to bring back a beloved 2010s trend with a twist!

A canary yellow diamond choker adds a complimentary pop of colour to the look, as does Stone's mane of auburn hair. The Oscars will round out a fruitful award season for Stone, who is nominated in Sunday night's ceremony for her starring role in director Yorgos Lanthimos's offbeat coming of age comedy Poor Things.

Stone already won a Golden Globe for the performance, and for that ceremony she wore a delicate custom Louis Vuitton gown embroidered with flowers, staying on the sheer dress trend like so many of her peers lately.

And we can't help but remember the immediately iconic gold fringed gown Emma Stone wore in 2017, the first time she won the best actress Oscar for her role in La La Land.
