Demi Lovato kicked off the summer in the best way possible: on the beach! The singer and their fiancé Jordan "Jutes" Lutes headed to Kauai, Hawaii, for a sunny holiday, where they enjoyed beach time, boat time, and, in Lovato's case, lots of makeup-free moments.
The star had a presto change-o moment.
Demi Lovato shared a handful of pics from the trip on Instagram, including several cute selfies showing off their makeup-free glow. In one shot, Lovato poses on a boat wearing a strapless black one-piece swimsuit, and in another, sweetly nuzzles noses with Lutes. Lovato's adorable freckles are out in full force in the pics, and the singer's dark, chin-length bob is perfectly beachy, mostly worn in undone day-on-the-beach waves.

Friends and fans immediately popped into Lovato's comments pointing out the gorgeous summer looks. "Glowiingggg absolutely beautiful," wrote one. "Look at u glowing," wrote Lutes. "My girl gotta little vitamin D!" wrote aesthetician Renee Rouleau, who works with the singer. (We're sure Lovato was wearing lots of SPF while out and about in the sun, and you should be, too!)

Lovato and Lutes got engaged in late 2023, with Lutes popping the question with a "bespoke pear-shaped diamond solitaire engagement ring." The two met in early 2022 as co-writers and were friends before their relationship turned romantic. "We became friends first. We were friends for several months, and then we decided to start dating, and well, after we told each other how we felt," Lovato previously shared. “Yeah, I'm super happy, and he's my best friend.”
The two were the It couple of the original Gossip Girl era.
In March 2024, Lovato told People that the couple was feeling "chill" about the wedding planning process. "I think what I want for my dress is [to keep it] secret from him so that he doesn't know what I'm wearing until I walk down the aisle — but we're planning," the singer shared. We can't wait to see!
