Glamour's Women of the Year Awards are officially underway, and we have many thoughts and flowers to give for this year's red carpet at 180 The Strand. Charlie Craggsactivist, award-winning author and actor – has remained true to form and worn yet another impactful, incredible statement white T-shirt to the awards ceremony.

Charlie stepped out in a T-shirt emblazoned with the slogan “Reform Will Never Be Glamour”. This comes after UK political party Reform have been galvanising support throughout the country, causing concern due to the party's conservative attitude towards immigration policies in particular – one MP has defended another accused of “racism” .

Reform MP Zia Yusuf spoke out in support of fellow Reform MP Sarah Pochin for saying that "it drives me mad when I see adverts full of black people, full of Asian people".

Of course, this isn't the first time that our girl Charlie has used a statement T-shirt to stand up for what she believes in. At 2023's Women of the Year Awards, she wore a tee with the slogan “Transphobia will never be Glamour”. And she's right. A cause still important to this day, after the Supreme Court's decision to ruling to exclude transgender women from the definition of ‘woman’ under the Equality Act 2010.

Charlie's fashion (and political) moves are completely in line with what Glamour stands for: community, feminist empowerment and justice, we salute her for bringing such realness and important messages to the Women of the Year Awards red carpet once more.

At Glamour's 2023 International Women's Day celebrations, Charlie spoke out about the need for everyone – women, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and men – to speak out against transphobia, after debuting her previous statement T-shirt look.

"Violence against women and trans women isn’t going to stop because women protest it; it’s going to stop when men stop. So having them on board is vital.”

Touching on the importance of speaking out and not being afraid to be an activist, she said: "it’s actually just about recognising what is right and what is wrong in really simple terms – like violence is wrong."
