Jay Z was honoured at Sunday's Grammys with the Global Impact Award, but we can all agree that he was upstaged by his date: his 12-year-old daughter Blue Ivy.

While the Carter family skipped the Grammys red carpet, Blue accompanied her dad on stage to accept the award, standing poised and radiant beside him as he spoke to the crowd. And Daddy and daughter even held hands at one point.

Looking like a mini-me of her Mum, Beyonce, the tween wore a shiny yet simple off-the-shoulder white gown with a midi hem to show off her mid-calf, white platform boots and accessorised the with a classic white clutch.

To complement her look, Blue wore her hair in braids with a touch of gloss on her lips.

In a thoughtful speech, Jay-Z spoke about the obstacles he's faced in his decades-long career. He also threw shade at the Recording Academy for never awarding Beyoncé the prestigious album of the year award, despite the fact that his wife has won more Grammys than anyone in history.

“Most Grammys ever, never won album of the year. How does that work?" he said.

How does that work, indeed? Speaking of Bey, she also was wearing white, but her look was more cowgirl than her mini me's. She made sure to complement Blue Ivy though, with a white hat and platinum blonde hair.
