Get ready, there's a new hot priest in town. At least, Dan Levy is back on Netflix in some priestly garbs in his new show Big Mistakes.
Levy, who co-created the show with Rachel Sennott, stars in the show, and also serves as showrunner and executive producer. He is joined by Taylor Ortega. The pair play slow-to-launch grown-up siblings who are blackmailed into the criminal underworld. Think Schitt's Creek meets The Sopranos.
“I’m so excited to be bringing this truly chaotic family story to life with Netflix,” Levy told Netflix. “I’m thrilled with the team we’re building both behind the scenes and in front of the camera. Taylor Ortega is going to become a household name, and it’s been my life’s mission to get to call Laurie Metcalf ‘mother.’ Looking forward to getting to share this with everyone.”

Dan Levy
At the helm is creator, writer, producer, actor extraordinaire Dan Levya as Nicky. You likely remember him as David Rose in the iconic comedy Schitt's Creek. He went on to star in 2020's Happiest Season, a Christmas rom-com, and write and star in 2023's Good Grief, a Netflix film about a young man grieving his husband.
Laurie Metcalf
The incredible Laurie Metcalf plays Linda, the domineering mother of Nicky and Morgan. You probably know her from Scream 2, JFK, The Dropout and as Marion, the mother, in Greta Gerwig's Lady Bird.
Taylor Ortega
Taylor Ortega is Dan Levy's sister, Morgan. You may have seen her as Shego in 2019's Kim Possible. She also appears in What We Do in the Shadows, Another Simple Favour, Ghosts and The Four Seasons.
Jack Innanen
Jack Innanen plays Max. A relative newcomer, Innanen previously appeared in The Dessert, a Canadian sketch comedy show, The Office Movers, a Canadian comedy, and Adults, a Hulu comedy about codependent housemates.
Abby Quinn
Abby Quinn stars as Natalie, Nicky and Morgan's seemingly perfect sister. The American actor is best known for her role in M. Night Shyamalan's 2023 horror film Knock at the Cabin. She also appeared in Better Call Saul, Black Mirror, Mad About You and had a small role in Greta Gerwig's Little Women.
Boran Kuzum
Turkish actor Boran Kuzum plays Yusef, one of the baddies. He has appeared in a number of Turkish films, TV shows and plays.
Jacob Gutierrez
Jacob Gutierrez plays Tareq. You may know him from Bull or Dear Edward.
John Noble Barrack
John Noble Barrack also appears as Kevin. His previous guest roles include The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Bull, FBI and prank show Scare Tactics.
