“If you believe in the magic of synchronicity, then angel numbers can definitely be a part of those random coincidences that feel more than just a mere number,” Sade Jackson, the 'Astrology Vixen' tells Glamour. “Numerology has been a part of esoteric circles for millennia, so it still holds weight in our modern world.”

Angel numbers are simply repeated numerical patterns that you keep seeing randomly in your life.
“Angel numbers are a string of repeating numbers like 222, 999 or numbers that have an uncanny sequence that keep popping up around you, whether it’s the time on your phone or on your oven clock," says Sade.
These numbers are said to be signs from the universe — in other words, they are a sign that greater forces are trying to communicate something to you. According to numerologists and astrologers, there are certain common angel numbers that have specific meanings.
What makes angel numbers special?
Angel numbers aren't just any numbers — they are said to hold special significance.
“Even the ancient mathematician Pythagoras believed in the concept of ‘magic numbers’,” notes Sade. "He noted the mystical significance of certain numbers, believing that they held special properties and had profound symbolic meanings."
This concept has lasted for generations and is now most commonly known as “angel numbers”.
Where can you find angel numbers?
The short answer is, just about anywhere where numbers appear, your angel number could turn up — you just have to know to look for it.
“One of my friends said that she’s been seeing the same number sequence since she was a child all around her, so she feels as if it's a sign that she’s on the right side of her destiny," Sade says. "You could also see repeating numbers on your grocery shopping receipt or maybe the songs that come up on your playlist all have the same numerical duration.”

As Sade says, “If there's one thing we can take from the ‘luck girl syndrome’ cultural phenomena, is that we can see any repeating pattern as a sign or symbol that there’s something out there watching over us, or at least knowing that there is more to life than we can see with our two eyes.”

Does everyone have their own individual angel number? Well, kind of! Some believe that your angel number is simply the number you happen to see everywhere.

Simply add all of the digits of your birth date together and repeat until you're left with a single digit. For instance, if your birthday was 08/02/1993, your angel number digit would be:

1313 is all about creativity and pursuing your goals. It can also be a sign to rediscover your passion and drive.
