From New Balance sneakers, to Vans skater shoes, to the Isabel Marant wedge trainer and Nike's Liberty print kicks, it's fair to say that trainers are having a bit of a fashion moment.

Rita Ora was spotted out and about in Adidas Shell Toe trainers yesterday - a classic style (also known as the 'Superstar') once beloved by basketball stars and Run DMC, but recently spotted in the unlikeliest of places...
...on the runways of London Fashion Week! Giles Deacon gave the models in his Spring/Summer 2014 show a break by putting them in the Adidas sneakers - a sporty decision that clashed rather nicely with the rather dramatic dresses on the catwalk.
With that other Adidas classic style, the Pool slider making a comeback this summer, and Rita generally on the pulse when it comes to sportswear, could we have found the next big trainer trend? We'll be keeping our eyes peeled for more Shell Toe adopters - in particular, the trainer-wearing designer Phoebe Philo at Celine, who often leads the way in what the fash pack put on their feet.
