As the singer and newly appointed The Voice UK judge prepares for a gig
Hit the snooze button on my alarm - twice.
Wake up properly this time. The first thing I do is check my phone and reply to some messages from the songwriters I work with in America.
Throw on some gym clothes for my workout and eat a couple of oatcakes with avocado - something that's not going to repeat on me when I'm jumping up and down.
Arrive for my class, a mix of dance routines and body conditioning.
Back home I make a vegan fry-up: veggie burger, some kale, fried aubergine and the leftover avocado. I'm not actually vegan, but sometimes I like to cook vegan food.
Arrive at the studio. My bandmates and I try to write a song and get a rough demo of it down in three hours. It's quite a feat, but we manage it.
Jump in a cab to the Savoy Hotel where I'm performing an intimate gig for Mastercard's Priceless sessions.
Squeeze in some press interviews on the phone, then it's time to sound check with my band.
Start the two-hour hair and make-up process. I get quite fidgety and bored, so have a good gossip with my styling team.
There are more interviews to do and some bits of filming. Then I have a quick snack of hummus and carrot sticks - I can never eat much before a show.
Time to take the stage. We perform a mix of pre-rehearsed material with me kind of winging it, calling songs out to my band on the spur of the moment. I like the element of surprise with live music, rather than something polished and perfect.
The show's over - it was very physical, so it's time for a very late dinner. I head to Yauatcha in Soho and order the Cheung Fun with prawns and crispy bean curd, with glutinous rice wrapped in lotus leaf, and morning glory - it's a vegetable! - with garlic.
I'm a night owl, so when I get home I watch the documentary The Wolfpack, about six brothers who spent their childhood in total isolation, re-enacting movies. Afterwards I search for them on Instagram, so I can tell them how amazing they are.
Finally go to sleep, worried about having to be up at 8am again.
